Julia Mauelshagen


Julia Mauelshagen advises and represents national and international clients in all aspects of intellectual property law, in particular patent, trademark and competition law. She also advises on legal issues at the interface between antitrust and patent law.

Ms. Mauelshagen handles patent infringement proceedings in various technical fields (e.g. telecommunications and mechanical engineering). This includes a number of cross-border infringement proceedings concerning standard essential patents ("SEPs").

Curriculum Vitae

Julia Mauelshagen studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn with a focus on economics and competition.

After completing her studies, she worked for one year as a research assistant in patent law at a large international commercial law firm in Düsseldorf.

She completed her legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Düsseldorf with stages in patent law at an international commercial law firm in Düsseldorf.

Since being admitted to the bar in November 2022, Julia Mauelshagen has been working as a lawyer at Wildanger in the field of intellectual property law.
