Jan-Caspar Maiers studied law at Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, and at the University of Muenster, specializing on information, telecommunication and media law. During his traineeship at the Higher Regional Court Duesseldorf, he interned at large German and international law firms, inter alia in the field of trademark and unfair competition law. After his second state examination, he received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in intellectual property law from the University of Duesseldorf. Since he was admitted to the bar in Germany in 2017 he works at Wildanger.
Jan-Caspar Maiers is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).
